English language entry requirements 

If English is not your first language, studying in the UK can be very challenging. That's why we check that you have the English language skills you need to cope with your course right from the start. 

In this section you will find tables listing the English language entry requirements by School. Find out what you need to study here as an:

• undergraduate or postgraduate EU applicant
• undergraduate or postgraduate international (non-EU) applicant.

Pre-sessional English language for Academic Purposes (PEAP)

If you are required to complete a Pre-Sessional English language for Academic Purposes (PEAP) course before you start your degree with us this will be explained as a condition of your offer to study here.  You may like to watch this PEAP video that explains more about the course.
