Entry requirements for students from Germany

Your qualification	You could study
Zeugnis der Allgemeinen Hochschulreife (Abitur) or The Fachhochschulreife	Offers for undergraduate courses are made depending on the entry criteria of your chosen course. These will be stated in UCAS tariff points. As a guide we would look for: 1.8 for courses which require 320 UCAS points 2.1 for courses which require 300 UCAS points 2.4 for courses which require 280 UCAS points 2.7 for courses which require 260 UCAS points 3 for courses which require 240 UCAS points.
Berufsakademien Diplom (Diplom - BA) or the Zwischenzeugnis/Vordiplom	Holders may be considered for advanced entry to undergraduate programme.
Bachelor degree / Diplom (apart from Berufsakademien Diplom – see above) / Magister / Artium Erstes Staatsexamen	A maximum of 2.0 for courses at postgraduate level requiring a 2.i. 2-0- 3.0 for courses at postgraduate level requiring a 2.ii.
Masters	A good grade in a Masters qualification is required for entry onto our research degrees.
