With some amazing and historic places to spend a day or an evening out, Nottingham is full of treats for culture vultures. From major British art exhibitions, to historic castles and parks, to some of the best independent theatres and comedy clubs; the city has everything you could ask for.

At various times of the year The Old Market Square hosts large local events, a big wheel, fairs, concerts, exhibitions an ice rink and even a man-made beach.

Wollaton Hall is a country house and museum in Nottingham, which features as Wayne Manor in key scenes from the blockbuster Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises.
