Nottingham is well-known for its nightlife and people flock here on weekends from all over the country. But there is a lot more to the city than the traditional stag-dos and hen nights. There is a thriving scene of underground music that covers dozens of genres and venues.

Rock City is legendary for the live acts they have attracted. Everyone from U2, David Bowie, Nirvana and Rage Against The Machine have played on the hallowed Rock City stage.

The Bodega is a small venue that has a great reputation for booking upcoming acts. The Strokes, Coldplay, White Stripes, Bright Eyes and Klaxons have all done sets here.
