Become a Student Ambassador
We know that going to university is a big investment, so we make sure that you leave us with the skills and experience that will make you attractive to employers. Our Student Ambassador Scheme is one of the many ways in which you can achieve this at NTU. The scheme gives you the opportunity to:
- raise young people's aspirations while developing your skill set
- enhance your CV while earning some money to make the best of your student life.
Events and activities include:
- providing support to University staff, classroom teachers and pastoral staff
- delivering short presentations to pupils and parents on a variety of themes associated with student life
- discussing and sharing your past and present educational experiences with pupils
- helping to raise pupils' self-esteem, motivation, confidence, persistence and application, through the successful completion of activities prepared by University staff
- helping pupils to see the connection between the studies in which they are currently engaged and their future development
- acting as a positive role model to pupils, particularly in relation to Higher Education
- networking with other Student Ambassadors and staff to share best practice.
Opportunities are also available for students to give support in other activities such as marketing campaigns and occasional office work. This scheme is open to all year groups studying at Nottingham Trent University. Part-time and international students are also eligible to apply.
