We believe in providing a supportive learning environment to help you get the most out of your time at University and overcome any problems you might face along the way. We offer a variety of individual support including practical advice and information to help with your studies and University life. Our Student Services Centre has been awarded the Government Standard in Customer Service Excellence (CSE) and we have just built a brand new Student Services website for you to access the support you need online. Financial support
We will be here to help you with money matters while you are at University. You can contact our Student Financial Support Service for information on fees, finance and managing your money.
International student support
We have a dedicated support team for international students. They will be there to provide you with advice on all issues around studying in the UK. You will also meet other international students through the events they organise.
Support for students with disabilities
We offer a range of physical and sensory support for students with disabilities. You will also find specific support for students with dyslexia.
Your health and wellbeing
It's a proven fact that if you're feeling well, then you're likely to perform better as a student. You will find a wealth of services that will support your health and wellbeing at NTU. We provide counselling, mental health support and opportunities to explore faith and spirituality.
Study support
Studying at University is very different from other types of learning. Our Student Mentors can offer support with your writing and maths as well as helping you to understand feedback, proofread your work and prepare for exams. Our libraries can also give you useful tips on finding resources for your research and study.
Your career development
Throughout your time at University, and beyond, our Career Development Centre is there to help you make the right choices about your future. Talk to one of our Careers Consultants or use our resources to help with your planning and the all-important applications and interviews.
