Travelling to the City site
By car
Parking is limited in Nottingham city centre and the roads are always busy, so we recommend you use a Park and Ride to eliminate the stress. However, there are car parks close to the City site. Follow signs marked with a blue crown icon to find the closest ones at Trinity Square NG1 4BR or Talbot Street NG1 5GG, or use the Victoria Centre car park NG1 3QN.
From the North, South or West
Park and Ride Sat Nav postcode: NG8 6AS
Exit the M1 at Junction 26 and follow signs for the A610. The Phoenix Park, Park and Ride is clearly signposted and is about 1.5 miles from the motorway. You are able to purchase a return ticket on the tram for £3.50 per adult and conductors give change, but they do not accept £20 or £50 notes. Please use the Nottingham Trent University stop, on Goldsmith Street and head for the Newton and Arkwright buildings for registration. Further details can be found at the tram website.
From the East
Park and Ride Sat Nav postcode: NG2 4BE
From the A52 follow signs to Nottingham and then follow signs for the Park and Ride which is situated at the grounds of Nottingham Racecourse (just off Colwick Loop Road). There is a charge of £3.40 return for one person or £3.00 for a car load (up to six people). The bus will bring you in to the centre of Nottingham and drop you off on Lower Parliament Street. See the maps of the City site.
It is only a short walk to the University from the bus stop. Please note that current roadworks on the A52 at Saxondale may cause a delay in your journey.
