As a student at NTU you have the opportunity to apply for free student membership to the Institute of Directors (IoD).
In 2011-12, almost 200 students from the Nottingham Business School and the School of Architecture, Design and the Built Environment have benefited from membership of this prestigious organisation.
The Institute of Directors is Europe's largest membership organisation for business leaders. Established in 1903, the IoD has been representing senior level professionals and earning a reputation as the business network for leadership.
There are more than 45,000 members in the United Kingdom and overseas. Members include directors from right across the business spectrum as well as CEOs of large corporations as well as entrepreneurial directors of start-up companies.
Becoming a student member of the IoD will give you a valuable headstart in your career. Improve your business knowledge, take advantage of information and resources, build a network of contacts and add something special to your CV.
