Guest tickets
Student registration for the July 2013 ceremonies opens from 18 February
All students are initially eligible to purchase up to two guest tickets prior to the booking deadline, with the possibility of securing extra tickets after this date where available.
Guest tickets must be booked and paid for at the time of ordering in order to secure your seats. The tickets include entry to the ceremony at the Royal Concert Hall and attendance at a reception in the prestigious Newton building where light refreshments will be served. In addition, both you and your guests will receive a ceremonial programme listing all graduands and diplomates.
Due to the nature and length of the ceremony (approximately one and a half hours from when you take your seats) please consider the suitability of bringing a child under eight years old as a guest. Please note, all seats are priced the same.
UK students
Guest tickets and further information concerning the ceremonies are normally sent via first class post approximately two weeks prior to the ceremonies. Tickets will be sent to the permanent address as shown on your student record, unless you have specified an alternative address at the time of booking.
Non-UK students
Guest tickets for students with permanent addresses outside the UK will be retained for collection, either from the Academic Registry (Dryden Centre Room 202) during the week before the ceremonies, or on the day of the ceremonies from the Newton building.
Refunds
Please note that all guest tickets are non-refundable as stated at the time of booking, with the exception of students who are no longer eligible to attend due to having to retake an assessment, in which case you will receive a refund once the ceremony has taken place. A further invitation to the next set of ceremonies will be sent to you in due course. Tickets cannot be transferred between ceremonies and you must complete the online registration process again.
