Have you considered working for yourself after graduation? Maybe you're thinking about starting your own business, or planning to work as a freelancer?

Perhaps you have a business idea already. Or maybe you are considering self-employment as an option but are unsure what that business might be, or even whether you are cut out to be an entrepreneur. Then why not come along to The Hive Summer School? It might just help you make up your mind.

Here at The Hive we can provide you with the essential guidance and encouragement you need to succeed.

The Hive Summer School will run from Monday 24 June to Wednesday 26 June 2013 inclusive. It will explore themes such as creative idea generation, identifying business opportunities, and understanding some of the necessary skills and attributes of being an entrepreneur. At the end of the three days you will have gained some of the knowledge you will need to run your own business, have a better idea whether self-employment is for you and if your business idea has the potential for success.

Those with well-developed business ideas with commercial potential will be invited back on Thursday 27 June for further mentoring – exploring in more detail how the ideas might be progressed towards a business venture.

Based on interest in the previous four years we expect demand to be high. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so get your application in as soon as possible.
