Facilities
The Hive's principal facilities are located on the City site and at Mansfield, with offices also available to participants at the Brackenhurst and Clifton campuses.
Our purpose-built Centre for Entrepreneurship and Enterprise in the city combines a professional working environment with the appropriate accommodation and infrastructure to support new businesses. It includes:
- hot desks, office units, meeting rooms and conference facilities
- reception area and related services
- kitchen and access to catering services
- telephone, printing, photocopying, post, fax and office equipment
- IT facilities with WiFi network access
- access to the University's information services, including library and useful databases such as Mintel and FAME
- office units are also available to businesses at competitive market rates.
In addition to our first-class facilities, we offer an efficient signposting services to direct you to relevant organisations, opportunities and events, including:
- accountants, lawyers, banks and patent agents
- a wide range of organisations and government funded support services such as East Midlands Incubation Network (emin), East Midlands Business, Nottinghamshire Business Venture and the Chamber of Commerce
- an experienced mentor to provide advice and support
- funding opportunities and grants from external organisations such as the Prince's Trust, First Enterprise, Connect Midlands, Growth investment network east midlands (GINEM), and the Thomas White Foundation
- networking and social events
- publicity and marketing opportunities in local and national media, including notification of awards and competitions.
We also provide a range of business support services.
