Arts and Humanities houses six academic teams. Although they share a single commitment to education which supports students, enables their success and helps shape society, they are significantly diverse, spanning a wide range of subject areas and specialisms:

The results of the UK’s 2008 Research Assessment Exercise have placed NTU amongst the leading institutions for research in Media, Communications and Cultural Studies, with 70% of its research being rated as world leading or of international excellence.
