The Sir Joseph Banks Archive Project
The Sir Joseph Banks Archive Project is an independent research project currently located at Nottingham Trent University. A registered charity (number 1116997) it operates solely for academic purposes and is entirely funded by charitable donations.
The project undertakes scholarly work surveying, editing and publishing in volumes the papers of Sir Joseph Banks, which were scattered following his death in 1820.

An Interdisciplinary Conference featuring the work and influence of Sir Joseph Banks "Cultivating Empire: Exploration, Science and Literature" will take place in Lincoln, 17-18 April.

Day two "From Shire to Shore" will be open to the general public between 10.00am-4.00pm. Registration costs £15 (includes coffee/tea and buffet lunch). Pre-registration is essential by 30 March.
