History and Heritage
Research in History and Heritage encompasses the key areas of urban and rural history; the histories of science; technology and crime; in memory studies; gender and religious history; the Latin East; East Asia; India; Taiwan; Japan; Britain; France; Germany; Spain; Scandinavia; and the public representation of history in museums, exhibitions and art forms.

SOLON (Society, Order, Law, Offences, Notoriety) was founded in 1999 at Nottingham Trent University by Dr Judith Rowbotham and Dr Kim Stevenson (now at the University of Plymouth) to promote Interdisciplinary Studies in Bad Behaviour and Crime.

For over 14 years, Nottingham Trent University has successfully delivered a leading postgraduate course in museum and heritage management.
