Going on exchange from NTU
Our study exchanges will help you develop your independence and give you the exciting chance to experience another culture. At the same time you will be gaining key skills valued by employers within a global economy.
All undergraduate students in the School of Arts and Humanities have the opportunity to spend an exchange semester in the second half of their second year at one of our partner universities. Places can be limited and subject to grades achieved in Year One. If your exchange is within the European Union you'll be supported by a mobility grant.
Throughout your first year you'll be invited to attend a series of briefings about the benefits of taking an exchange year, how to apply and how to make the most of your time abroad. We also have designated administrative staff to assist with exchange enquiries.
Students taking two of our BA (Hons) language courses can also complete a year abroad and exchange options for students completing MAs and research degrees may also be considered. Some partners may also be able to provide exchange opportunities for teaching and general staff.
