Centre for Academic Quality Management

CASQ supports the University and its Schools by providing a central resource for the introduction, maintenance and enhancement of programmes of study.

It takes responsibility for overseeing the validation, monitoring and review of all programmes and acts as the interface for quality assurance at the University. This includes its partnerships in the UK and overseas.

Its other important role is to support the enrichment of teaching, learning and pedagogic developments throughout the University. In particular it works with the Schools to implement the Institutional Learning and Teaching Enhancement Strategy and takes forward specific initiatives for University wide learning enhancements.
