Internal Audit

Internal Audit is about adding value and improving the University's operations. They help the University accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, value for money arrangements and governance processes.

They provides independent objective assurance and consulting activity that is both compliant with professional best practice and responsive to the on-going, developing challenges faced by the University.

The Internal Audit team is small, friendly and highly regarded. Team members work alone, together and in partnership with a 'big 4' accountancy firm to perform audits throughout the University as well as ad-hoc projects that make a real difference.
