Information Systems

Information Systems provides a core service to the University. We manage the operation of all information and communication technologies for the institution, including the network, servers, telephones and email gateway.

We develop systems, which help colleagues at the University to provide a more efficient service to customers, for example in Finance and Registry. We install and maintain desktop PCs and printers, and our Print Services team at the City site and Clifton campus provide a copy/binding service to both students and staff.

The ESC (Education Support Centre) provides support for Microsoft products for education institutions across the UK and the EMMAN (East Midlands Metropolitan Area Network) provides network connection for further and higher education and research.
