Cisco features
The following features are available to users of a Cisco IP Telephone handset:
Cisco Unified Video Advantage
Cisco Unified Video Advantage (formerly Cisco VT Advantage) adds video to your communications experience by providing video telephony functionality to Cisco Unified IP phones.
ViewMail for Outlook
Cisco's ViewMail for Outlook lets you send, listen to and manage voice messages directly from your Outlook Inbox.
Speech Connect
Speech Connect for Cisco Unity allows you to quickly connect with your colleagues using only your voice.
Presence enabled speed dials
Your Cisco IP phones can display status information (on-hook, or off-hook) of presence entities by presence-enabled speed dials or call directory list entries. Presence-enabled speed dials show a symbol in the screen of the phone, located at the appropriate speed dial button. Some phone models (type B Cisco Unified IP phones) have an LED inside the speed dial button which indicates the status, i.e. red (off-hook) or green (on-hook) lights. When browsing through a directory or call list, each entry displays a symbol indicating its current status.
Extension mobility
The Extension Mobility feature allows you to temporarily configure another IP Phone as your own by logging in to that phone. Once you've logged in, the phone adopts your own profile information, including telephone number, call forwards etc. It is useful for members of staff who regularly work in different locations.
Basic Manager Assistant
The basic Manager Assistant configuration utilises presence-enabled speed dials and intercom facility.
Cisco IP Manger Assistant (IPMA)
Cisco Unified Communications Manager Assistant improves productivity by extending such commonly used features as call filtering, immediate call diversion, and line state monitoring to administrative assistants and managers.

Windows Mobile
We support Windows Mobile based phones for synchronisation with NTU email, calendar and contacts. as long as they are version Windows Mobile version 6 or above.
Nokia Symbian
We cannot guarantee full compatibility of Nokia phones with our systems, so at this time we do not recommend them for synchronising with NTU email, calendar and contacts. However if you still want to use a Nokia phone, we can provide assistance in synchronising it with Exchange, as long as it is running Symbian-S60.
