Video conferencing
We have set-up three rooms (one at each campus) for colleagues to be able to meet virtually, campus-to-campus, to host meetings with external partners and hold interviews. These facilities can be found in the following locations and must be booked through Timetabling for room booking and the Service Desk for assistance in setting up the call.
- City site: Dryden Centre Room 111
- Clifton campus: George Eliot Exec 121
- Brackenhurst campus: Main Building, Hicking Room
If these rooms are inconvenient, we can arrange for a mobile video conferencing kit to come to you. We advise a lead time of at least two weeks for both of these services, so that we have enough time to test and gather information. Please make your initial request using the Audio/visual request form.
Plasma display content
You may have noticed that we have installed a number of plasma screens in key areas across the University displaying information on:
- library opening times
- course details
- other relevant material.
In future, we will be rolling out more detailed signage information relevant to the area in which you are viewing the screens. If you wish to get your content on screen, please contact the Service Desk.

Whether it is an interactive whiteboard or sympodium, projector or plasma, we are committed to designing the optimum teaching environment from conception to installation.
