Nottingham Trent University's reputation as one of the most popular universities in the UK has been reinforced with the latest undergraduate degree application figures released by UCAS. According to the new digest, the University is now the 10th most popular institution in terms of applications received, having risen six places in the last year. The top ten position has been secured with a 24.1% rise in applications against this point last year, well above the national sector increase of 17.2%. The figures also reveal that the University has recorded the fifth largest increase in applications out of the top 30 institutions.(Figures as at 24 March 2010, the UCAS first advisory deadline).
