Referencing support

Referencing is required across all disciplines to provide evidence of the breadth of your research, and may be included in your assessment criteria.  The library provides a range of support options to help you to understand more about referencing.  

• Student Learning Room (via your NOW home page): Visit the content section where you will find further guidance on referencing including:
  • citing references guide
  • Harvard Referencing Ferret: A self assessment tool that will test your knowledge of referencing
  • RefWorks guide.
• Referencing queries should be directed to the Liaison Librarian for your subject area, who can provide tailored help, support and training.
• The Library's Events programme includes training sessions about referencing which you can sign up to attend.
