Institutional repository
The Institutional Repository (IRep) enables the University to share its research and intellectual outputs, both inside and outside of the University. IRep includes research collections, such as journal articles and conference papers, as well as a corporate collection for material such as corporate images and presentations. The Information Repository also contains a learning and teaching collection, aimed at sharing innovative practice with the wider academic community.

“The Nottingham Trent University Institutional Repository, is an open access online archive containing digital records of the University's research, scholarly, learning and teaching and corporate collections. Its main purpose will be to preserve and showcase the huge range and variety of output of the University, and to help NTU authors make their research more widely known, their ideas and findings more readily accessible and their papers more frequently read and cited.
“IRep has a significant role to play in increasing the world's access to the first class work and research being undertaken at NTU and I strongly encourage NTU colleagues to take advantage of this new initiative by depositing their work within IRep.
“IRep will ensure that the exciting and innovative work that the University produces is as visible and accessible as possible to the global community, helping to raise the profile of Nottingham Trent University and its staff.”
IRep is fully searchable and browsable, so please take a look. At launch, IRep contained citations for the entire contents of the Research Publications Database, including all Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) submissions. It is hoped that IRep will become the place to go for access to the high quality research and work being carried out at NTU.
