RefWorks
RefWorks is the reference management software supported by LLR. It is designed to help you gather, manage, store and share your references. RefWorks integrates with Microsoft Word, allowing you to insert formatted references into your work and automatically compile your bibliography. Other word-processing software can also be used with RefWorks.
RefWorks is web-based and can be used both on and off campus. You will need your University username and password to log in.
LLR's RefWorks User Guide contains introductory information for getting started with RefWorks, as well as step-by-step examples for using it with different databases. RefWorks also provide a number of tutorials and help via the software itself (see the RefWorks: User Guide for more information).
If you have already created collections of references using software such as Reference Manager or EndNote, these can easily be transferred into RefWorks:
- import references from Reference Manager
- import references from EndNote .
RefWorks is a valuable tool in assisting with your development of wider referencing and plagiarism skills.
