Requests for off-air recording

LLR can record programmes from certain permitted TV channels for educational purposes and transpose them on to DVD. To see which channels we can record from please go to the Freeview web site.

Academic Staff can request a recording by contacting their Liaison Librarian or by completing the LIB Off Air Recording form.

Please give full details of channel, programme title, date/time, your name and department. Please can you indicate whether the recording is for teaching purposes only, or whether a copy is to be added to our audio-visual collection. We aim to add recordings to the audio-visual collection within seven working days of receiving the request. Recordings for teaching purposes should be sent out within five working days of receiving the request.

All recordings must comply with copyright legislation.
