Using the Library

All registered members of the University and Smartcard holders are eligible to use all the libraries and open access resource rooms across NTU, but you can find most of the resources which have been selected to support your programme or research needs in the library on the campus where you are based.

Check out when we are open and how to find your way around, how to borrow books and how many you can take away with you, how to get logged onto the pcs or use the photocopiers and printers (and how much it costs) and how to make use of other libraries, either through our inter-site or inter-library loan services or by visiting other institutions elsewhere in the UK, all by using the links in this section.

Borrowing allowances

You will need your NTU Smartcard and password to make full use of LLR facilities. Please bring your card with you on every visit. You will also need to inform the Information Desk of any changes to your term-time or home address.

Inter-library loans

Submit your ILL requests online. Check the status and progress of all your requests. Tell us your preferences for receiving notifications and documents. Check and change your contact details.
