Accessing IT services for academic visitors

JANET is the UK's Joint Academic Network and connects the UK’s education and research organisations to each other, as well as to the rest of the world through links to the global Internet. NTU participates in the JANET Roaming service and visitors to NTU from other participating JANET UK organisations can connect to their home services using a wireless access points at NTU.

NTU has wireless access points in the major buildings on each campus. In addition to any acceptable use policies at your home institution, by using these facilities on our network you are also agreeing to the NTU Acceptable Use Policy.

Nottingham Trent University supports eduroam Tier 2 using IEEE 802.1X authentication (WPA Enterprise with TKIP) via the eduroam wireless SSID.

NTU has wireless access points in the major buildings on each campus.

Eduroam visitors from other institutions should contact their own institution for any set-up instruction.
