- Welcome to the Brackenhurst Campus Library. Help and assistance is available at the Reception and Information Desk. For more detailed subject enquiries, you will be referred to a Liaison Librarian.
- The library has self service issue and return machines. Swipe your University Smartcard to borrow and return books. Staff at the Reception and Information Desk can provide assistance.
- Information about opening hours, borrowing allowances and much more is available on our website.
- The library is divided into three study zones: red (silent); amber (quiet conversation) and green (talking permitted) to provide appropriate study environments.
- The floor is designated an amber zone for quiet study.
- You will find books here with shelfmarks from 000-668. Library OneSearch will help you to find books and journals on the shelves. Look up the shelfmark and go to the shelves on the first and second floors. You can access Library OneSearch via the NTU Library website, NOW, your student portal or Look and Book PCs.
- DVDs are kept at the beginning of the sequence.
- Journals are for use in the library only, but you can photocopy articles, in colour if necessary, using your University Smartcard.
- Current issues are displayed in shelfmark order on the ground floor and the back issues are arranged alphabetically by title on the first floor.
