Welcome to Music at Nottingham Trent University.
We offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities across the University for all students. We know that music is important to many people and it is highly valued at our institution.
We have a range of ensembles that all students and staff are welcome to join. We put on a range of events for the public, across the city, the UK and in Europe. We also provide bespoke tuition and offer a range of scholarships for talented musicians.
The opportunities given at NTU for music are fantastic. I performed with the Chamber Choir in both Amsterdam and Spain, as well as with the main choir at the Albert Hall in Nottingham, accompanied by a full orchestra.

Meet the team
The Nottingham Trent University Music Team is led by our Director of Music, the internationally-recognised choral and orchestral conductor Matthew Hopkins. The team also consists of highly experienced teachers in a variety of musical fields.
