Overview

The Division of Human Resource Management is one of the largest in the UK and is responsible for teaching and research in organisational behaviour and human resource management.

The Division teaches organisational studies and HRM at undergraduate, postgraduate and post-experience levels, on our own dedicated courses and as part of wider management courses within both Nottingham Business School and the wider University. In particular, we are a leading provider of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development courses - the Certificate in Human Resource Practice and Postgraduate Diplomas in Human Resource Management. All of the courses lead simultaneously to various levels of CIPD membership. Beyond that we offer our own Masters degree in Human Resource Management and an MSc in Management and HRM.

At undergraduate level we offer a range of modules at each level of the degree courses but within the BA (Hons) Business Management degree we offer a dedicated HRM route. We contribute to various other degree and post experience courses and have a number of PhD students, both full-time and part-time.

The Human Resources Division also organises the ESRC Seminar Series, details of which are available on the Research site.
