For over 30 years, Nottingham Business School has helped individuals learn new knowledge and practical skills to enhance their careers and make a powerful contribution to their organisations.
Our Management Development Programme is a new course designed to empower you to deliver results, lead your teams and energise change.
This programme will help you:
- understand the consequences of your actions
- generate new and innovative ways to grow your business
- develop your commercial acumen, project management and team leadership skills
- discover contemporary models of leadership and management, including coaching
- identify your strengths and build a tailored personal development plan
- meet and learn from your peers from different organisations
- increase your self-awareness
- apply a step-by-step approach to managing people, tasks and resources
- appreciate how strategic and functional concerns affect day-to-day operations
- identify and respond to present and future challenges in your organisation
- understand how marketing, finance and staffing affect your business
- become more resilient in managing workload and personal pressures.
Audience
It is for managers and team leaders or those about to become managers. It is also a useful refresher course for established managers. The course is particularly aimed at those working in the public sector.
Delivery
We know the demands managers face, which is why we have kept the time you spend at Nottingham Business School to a minimum: three intensive workshop blocks delivered over two days, plus one final networking event. There are no exams or formal assessments.

Funding opportunities
Grants of up to £1,000 are available through the Leadership and Management Advisory Service.
