China Management Institute

The China Management Institute (CMI) at Nottingham Business School offers outstanding expertise in research, provision of learning programmes and consultancy to support knowledge academically and economy development regionally, nationally and internationally through our connections in China and the UK.  

CMI reflects the commitment of Nottingham Business School and Nottingham Trent University as a whole in further strengthening collaborations between academic institutions, business and public sectors in China and the UK.

CMI  consists of an experienced team of academics and practitioners in China and the UK with expertise in the following areas: 

  • business and management
  • cross culture management
  • foreign direct investment
  • innovation and technology transfer
  • leadership and practical issues in doing business in China and the UK.

The China Management Institute delivers a number of tailored workforce development programmes including Master of Public Administration, Doctorate of Business Administration and Doctorate of Public Administration and many more in the pipe line. 

CMI delivers executive programmes for commercial and public sectors and provides consultancy on business and management through partnerships in China and the UK.

CMI is a platform for members to network and update on the latest development opportunities in China and the UK.
