Education

We provide education and training at the strategic and operational level that can be tailored to meet bespoke requirements. The centre currently offers the following formal teaching and training provision.

Lean Immersion

This is a one-day, high level programme viewing the processes and speaking with employees at all levels of a large and successful Lean automotive manufacturer.

Lean Experts

This is a two-week intensive course in the theory and application of Lean tools and techniques.

Theory of Constraints (TOC) Strategic Leadership 

This is a ten-day programme aimed at senior executive teams. It's delivered in blocks of three and four days in collaboration with QFI Consulting. The course is applicable to manufacturing and service industries (including health care and education).

MSc TOC (Health Care Management)

This 18-month part-time programme develops expertise in TOC application and thinking process tools in the context of wider continuous improvement philosophies and tools. It culminates in a six-month action research project aimed at analyzing, designing and practically implementing an improvement project.

TOC-ICO accreditation

The Theory of Constraints International Certification Organisation (TOC-ICO) operates independently and offers professional qualifications for practitioners and implementers utilising the TOC applications and thinking processes. The Centre faculty are certified in all TOC-ICO fields of expertise and can provide tuition and guidance in achieving certification. 

TOC Odyssey programme

We had the pleasure of hosting the International Odyssey programme in 2009, which was designed to introduce the TOC thinking processes to individuals seeking to make a difference. Guest speaker, Dr E Goldratt, lead the programme for freshman (27 – 31 July) and alumni (31 July – 3 August).
