Study routes

The Nottingham Business School MBA programme offers a choice of delivery mode so that you can choose the route that best suits your needs; either the full-time MBA studied over one year, or the part-time Executive MBA over two years, studied in three or four day blocks every five weeks. 

Whichever route you choose you will study the same programme.

Full-time MBA
Our 12-month full-time MBA begins in September. It is an intensive and challenging programme with the taught elements of the programme running from September to June. The final three months of the year are focused on your individual business project or dissertation.

Based in a central UK location Nottingham Business School's Full-time MBA attracts students from across the globe. This global focus runs throughout the programme with internationally focused elective modules and consultancy project.

Executive MBA
Starting in January, the Nottingham Business School Executive MBA is designed for working professionals, managers and leaders. It is a two-year part-time course designed to fit around your job and other commitments. In year one the course is delivered in blocks of four days (Wednesday to Saturday) every five to six weeks. In year two it is delivered in three-day blocks (Wednesday to Friday) for the first seven months; the last five months are focused on your individual business project or dissertation.

Executive MBA students are typically in full-time employment and either fund themselves or are sponsored by their organisation. Nottingham Business School enjoys a city centre location which is easily accessible for those working in Nottingham or travelling in from surrounding areas.

Students find that the knowledge and understanding they gain throughout the MBA course is immediately applicable to their organisation ensuring that both they and their employer benefit from the course.
