Nottingham Business School actively encourages its students to undertake a work placement during their time of study, as the experience can prove invaluable when entering the job market.

The style of teaching and learning used at Nottingham Business School equips our students not simply with theory, but with practical experience, which is mutually beneficial to the firms that we work with on placements.

The School’s commitment to its students on accessing rewarding employment is shown through the number of courses which include a period of supervised work experience. Termed as a placement or internship, these vary in length though the ultimate aim and result is the same: a rewarding and mutually valuable experience for student and employer. The range of sectors, firms and organisations we work with is vast and the placement options and innovative sectors are constantly explored to ultimately benefit all involved.

Nottingham Business School has its own dedicated Placement and Employment Service, which has a wealth of experience in facilitating and supporting the placement of students, with assistance offered to both the student and placement company alike throughout the whole process.
