eHRM Conference 2012

Fourth International eHRM Conference: Innovation, Creativity and eHRM

28 - 29 March 2012

Hosted by The International Centre for Talent Management and Leadership Development at Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University, UK.

Conference overview

In recent years HR practitioners have had to cope with current events such as natural disasters, the financial crisis, changes in government regulations and addressing societal trends such as generational changes, as well as an increasing emphasis on green and sustainable organizations. This has highlighted the need for sophisticated electronic systems for the improvement of HRM effectiveness and strategic decision making by providing access to automated HRM processes. This requires constant development and adoption of new forms of social interaction and working systems (for example, social networking, virtual work and outsourcing). Such activities enable not only for efficiency and effectiveness, but also innovation and creativity in attracting, managing, developing and engaging key talent to the organisation.
