Practice-based approaches to the study of organisations are becoming more prevalent, but what does practice mean in this context? This workshop launches a research grouping concerned with how organisations are created and maintained through practices, practices which are often taken-for-granted and routine in character. The members of the group come from different theoretical traditions, all with their different takes on the nature of practice. This workshop is an opportunity to explore these different approaches.
