Nottingham Business school is based in the Newton building, a multi-million pound, fully refurbished, Grade II listed building at the heart of the City site. Teaching may currently also take place in the Chaucer building or the Bass Management Centre, all conveniently situated in the heart of Nottingham's business district, with easy access to all transport links.
Newton building
The Newton building is a state-of-the-art learning environment equipped with the latest technology and an extensive, fully wireless-enabled social space to meet, study, work and relax. It is home to an abundance of teaching space, a range of lecture theatres of different sizes, and masses of space for social learning. Newton has its own cafe serving hot food, drinks and light snacks, and is a short walk from the city centre.
The Nottingham City Transport tram service has a stop close to the entrance to the building on Goldsmith Street. The entrance is building number 22 on the map below.
Chaucer building
The Chaucer building is ideally situated close to Library and Student Union facilities. Chaucer also has its own cafe serving hot food, drinks and light snacks.
The Nottingham City Transport tram service has a stop directly outside the building, making access to other parts of the city and the railway station very easy. The entrance is building number 15 on the map below.
Bass Management Centre (BMC)
The BMC is situated opposite the Chaucer building and provides a high standard of teaching and professional facilities in an attractive environment. It is built above the Boots library, which can be viewed from the BMC atrium.
The entrance to the BMC is on Goldsmith Street, and it is building number 12 on the map below. The NCTX Tram stop to other parts of the city and railway station is just outside the door.
