mADe@ntu for home and gift fair 2007
mADe@ntu will be exhibiting its fresh, new, design-led range of contemporary knitted and felted accessories and interior products at this year’s Home and Gift Fair at Harrogate, running from 15 – 18 July 2007.
The collection has been designed and produced by Nottingham Trent University’s award-winning Knitwear Design programme, using the expertise of both staff and students.
Created from 100% lambswool, the innovative range includes scarves, mittens, hats, cushions, bags, hotwater bottles, bedsocks and notebooks, in some of this season’s hottest colours.
This is the first year that mADe@ntu has exhibited at the Harrogate Home and Gift Fair. Wholesale prices start at £8.00 for a pair of mittens up to £24.00 for a large heart cushion.
Programme Leader for Knitwear Design at Nottingham Trent University, Nicola Francis, said: “We haven’t exhibited for a couple of years and we are really pleased to be back with great new products and colours.”
“The Knitwear Design programme is an innovative course which allows our graduates to progress to major brands and national/international companies. mADe@ntu is tangible evidence of the work being done on the course to develop an exciting approach to product design. We’re really looking forward to meeting the visitors to the Harrogate Fair and to getting their feedback.”
Nicola added: “We are launching our website in August which will be a major stepping stone to ensure that all our customers are able to access the brand a lot easier!”
