Dutch veterinary surgeons visit university

A team of veterinary surgeons from Holland visited Nottingham Trent University’s state-of-the-art Veterinary Nursing centre and Animal Unit today as part of a week-long visit to the UK. The group – who all deliver veterinary nursing education at Groenhurst College in Holland – are in the UK to take their Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) examiner training certificates.

The visit was arranged through the RCVS, who felt the Dutch party would benefit from seeing the flagship facilities at the University’s Brackenhurst campus, home to it's School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences. They were given a guided tour of the purpose-built centre, which has just seen the launch of the university’s new RCVS-accredited Veterinary Nursing Foundation Degree.
