Newspaper Journalism course grabs the headlines....again!
A newspaper journalism course at Nottingham Trent University has once again achieved the best overall university results in the country. For the second year running, the MA/Postgraduate Diploma in Newspaper Journalism gained top university marks in the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) exam tables.
The tables provide a benchmarking tool for the universities, colleges and commercial providers which run NCTJ-accredited courses. They are also used to assist with NCTJ accreditation and to monitor standards. Nottingham Trent University recorded the best university scores across seven disciplines.
Robin Staniforth, Director of the university’s Centre for Broadcasting and Journalism, said: “To be the top university for the second year running is a great achievement and reflects the continuing hard work and commitment from students and staff alike.”
