Performance award for construction student
A student award to recognise and reward excellence in the field of construction has been presented to Nottingham Trent University undergraduate, Thomas Harvey. Thomas, who studies on the BSc (Hons) Financial and Project Management in Construction course, won the Best Performing Student prize, sponsored by leading specialist recruitment consultancy, Hays Construction.
Thomas, who has just graduated from the University, received his award at a prize-giving ceremony where he was presented with a cash prize and framed certificate.
Jon Bancroft, the manager of Hays Construction, said: “A lot of people don’t realise that there is a shortage of qualified construction professionals in the UK. Studying to attain a formal qualification will certainly enhance Thomas’s career prospects and he should be commended for his amazing achievement. I would like to congratulate him on his success, he is a very deserving winner.”
