1. Your telephone, email or web enquiry is received by the Legal Advice Clinic.
  2. We respond to your enquiry and request initial details about your legal problem.
  3. If we can help, you will be offered an appointment with student advisers.
  4. You will receive confirmation of your appointment in writing.
  5. After your appointment student advisers, under supervision, will research your problem. If the Clinic can assist you, you will receive a letter of advice usually within two weeks of your appointment.

In some circumstances, we can offer assistance beyond initial advice, for example letter writing, form filling or, in appropriate cases, representation at tribunals.

Some of our students are ratified Free Representation Unit (FRU) Volunteers. If you already have a case in the Employment Tribunal and have been given a hearing date, call and leave a message by telephone on: +44 (0)115 848 4262 or email.
