We currently cannot advise on immigration, family (such as divorce or child care proceedings) or criminal matters. The Clinic is unable to provide assistance if the case involves or could involve taking any action against Nottingham Trent University or a related body, employees or current students.

We are a recognised LawWorks Clinic. LawWorks is the operating name of the Solicitors Pro Bono Group (SPBG). The SPBG is an independent charity which aims to increase the delivery of free legal advice to individuals and communities in need.

Our service is currently only available during term-time and when students do not have assessments. Depending on the nature of your query, you may need to seek legal advice more quickly than we can provide, and you may therefore need to contact another organisation for advice and assistance in the meantime.

Please note that in some circumstances you only have three months to bring your claim, for example if you lose your job or have another complaint about work.
