Career Development loans may be available for the LPC and BPTC from the Co-operative Bank and Barclays. Please check the external websites for the terms and conditions of these loans.

Scholarships
We are delighted to announce the availability of a number of scholarships and discounts for our postgraduate courses.

GDL scholarships
There are five competitive scholarships available for the Graduate Diploma in Law worth £2,000 each. LPC scholarships
There are five competitive scholarships available for the Legal Practice Course worth £2,000 each. Home/EU applicants who have accepted their place on either the full-time or part-time course are eligible to apply for these scholarships. BPTC scholarships
There are five competitive scholarships available for the Bar Professional Training Course worth £2,000 each. Home/EU applicants who have accepted their place on the Bar Professional Training Course are eligible to apply for these scholarships. Masters in Law (LLM) scholarships
There are five competitive scholarships available for our Masters in Law (LLMs) worth £2,000 each. Home/EU students who have accepted their place on either a full-time or part-time course are eligible to apply for these scholarships.

Details of scholarships for international students.

NTU progression discount
If you are a current NTU student and you choose to study the Graduate Diploma in Law full-time, the Legal Practice Course full-time or part-time, or the Bar Professional Training Course, you will automatically receive a £1,000 discount off your tuition fee. If you choose to study one of our Masters in Law (LLMs) you will automatically receive a 10% progression discount off your tuition fee.

  • You do not need to apply for the discount as it will automatically be deducted from your fee before enrolment.
  • You can also apply for scholarship, however the total maximum award will not exceed £2,000
  • The scheme is not applicable to sponsored students (either partially or fully) and applies to 2012 entry only.


External scholarships
Postgrad Solutions is offering ten bursaries of £500 each to students from anywhere in the world. Visit their website for further details.

The Inderpal Rahal Memorial Trust provides up to two awards of £2,000 to enable women who are experiencing financial hardship to further their legal education. The award is designed for women from an immigrant or refugee background who intend to practice or teach law in the UK. Applicants should be undertaking or pursuing the BPTC, LPC, legal research, training contract, pupillage or other legal placement. Please email if you feel you are eligible for consideration.
