Salaried work placements and sandwich courses

Nottingham Law School pioneered sandwich legal education over forty years ago, and now has the second highest number of students of all UK universities on year-long legal-context work placements (HESA Student Record 2007-08). During this highly successful period, the School has developed an impressive number of consistently beneficial law-firm relationships, founded on the quality of our students, and the great benefits to graduates entering the field.

From 2009, students on the LLB (Hons) Sandwich course will undertake a year long work placement between the second and the final years of the course. All other Law undergraduate students can undertake the Certificate in Professional Practice over ten weeks during vacations.
