Our suite of postgraduate programmes provides the following:
PG Diploma in International Insolvency Law
The PG Dip in International Insolvency Law has been designed to meet the needs of insolvency professionals with little or no experience in the field of international insolvency law. Although the course is primarily aimed at insolvency professionals in developing and emerging market countries, less experienced insolvency professionals from developed countries are also encouraged to register. The course serves as an introduction to international insolvency law, and in addition to the Diploma also attracts 120 credits at Masters level. The programme is supported and endorsed by INSOL International. For further information, to download a brochure and to apply online please visit the course page.
Legal Services Regulation
In response to the radical changes in legal sector regulation and compliance brought about by the Legal Services Act 2007 we will shortly be introducing a new course: PG Cert Legal Services Regulation. It will be of particular interest to those working in the legal sector in operational or financial management positions, as compliance officers, managing partners, senior accountants or as independent consultants to legal businesses.
This programme has been designed to meet the needs of those working in the management and compliance field in the new legal services sector, working at strategic or operational level.
The aim of the programme is to consider basic risk management and regulatory compliance theory; the principles of risk management and regulatory compliance and the manner in which it informs the practice management and financial management of business in the legal sector, whether as traditional law firms, new entrants or those supplying services to the sector.
The start date for the course is provisionally mid May 2012 and further information will be available shortly. If you wish to find out more about this course please contact us by either email or telephone: 0115 848 4460.
