National Law Students Forum
National Law Students Forum
20 and 21 June 2012
The third National Law Students Forum, hosted by Nottingham Law School and The Higher Education Academy, and supported by Oxford University Press and LexisNexis, is taking place on 20 and 21 June 2012 at NLS, Nottingham Trent University. This year’s theme is employability.
Law Departments are invited to nominate one student to attend. Past student nominees have been Student Representatives or members of the Student Law Society but you may determine your own nominee selection method e.g. open competition or vote. Places are limited to 50 and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Conference costs (including meals and accommodation) will be covered in full by Nottingham Law School and The Higher Education Academy except for the cost of travel to and from the event, which Law Departments are being asked to confirm that they will cover.
The booking deadline has now passed however we are still accepting bookings. Please contact Susan Mclaughlin to request a booking form as soon as possible.
We look forward to welcoming the first 50 nominated students as student delegates to what we are sure will be as fulfilling and enriching an event for them as the past two annual events have been for those who attended. Please discuss with your nominee any particular benefits you believe they could bring back to your law school.
Further information about the 2010 and 2011 events is available on the Higher Education Academy website.
Please do not hesitate to contact us, by email or telephone, with any questions you may have.
