Bar Council Monitoring Panel Report
"The careers advisors at Nottingham Law School consist of a friendly, dedicated team of highly experienced individuals who enjoy guiding students every step of the way. The staff have been exceptionally supportive in helping me to make the right career choice by providing informative lectures and updates in the legal spectrum. Without the careers lectures, talks by highly regarded firms such as Eversheds, Nabarro, Irwin Mitchell, I would not have been able to make my career decision.
"Regular emails updating my knowledge on the application procedures for various firms, summary of interviews attended by LPC and BPTC students, and the latest legal jobs being posted on the online workspace has improved my chances of securing a job even in these current economic circumstances.
"The results speak for themselves, around 94% of the students from our University secure a job or a place for further education within one year of graduation. For these reasons I would advise any student who wishes to gain the best education - with the added bonus of excellent careers advice - to attend Nottingham Law School."

"I found the careers department to be friendly and approachable. Having worked as a professional musician prior to commencing the part-time LPC, they were able to help me identify transferable skills and to frame my professional experience so as to highlight the qualities that a commercial law firm look for. The process was collaborative and fun, and focused on the crucial areas of CV drafting and assessment-day preparation. Prior to seeking their help and guidance I had been shortlisted for a training contract with a large commercial firm. Following their input I felt more confident and tuned-in to what firms look for and was offered a training contract with one of their main rivals. It really did make all the difference."
