Paying your tuition fees 2012 / 13

The new Government reforms concerning higher education funding and student finance will affect all undergraduate students starting their course in 2012. This means that students who applied in 2011 but deferred entry until 2012 will be subject to the new fees and funding regime. These reforms do not apply to existing students or to those entering the University in 2011.

We are pleased to offer a choice of payment options for:

To be fully enrolled onto your programme, we request that tuition fees are either paid in full or an instalment arrangement is in place prior to enrolling or arriving at the University. Please note that if you have not made arrangements to pay all or any part of your fees, you will receive only Temporary Enrolment status and be given notice to arrange payment.

Important: Full-time undergraduate home students must be fully enrolled to receive Maintenance Grants and Loans.

Payment options

  1. Pay in full
Payment is accepted by credit / debit card or by cheque.
  2. Pay in instalments
For fees and contributions to fees of £500 or more. Fees are divided into 3 equal payments due at the start of each term. Payment is accepted by credit/debit card or by direct debit from a UK bank account. If you are required to pay an advanced payment, this will be deducted from the total cost and the remainder is divided into three equal instalments.

How to pay

Pay online
The University offers an online payment facility where you can choose to pay in full or in instalments by credit / debit card or by direct debit from a UK bank account. Paying online is the preferred method of payment and we assure you that all information is held in an encrypted form in a safe environment.

Pay by post
Where it is not possible to use the online payment system, you can send payment in full by post in the form of a cheque or bankers draft. Please send your payment with a completed fee payment form which can be downloaded and printed. Or you may contact the Credit Control Office and provide your credit/debit card details or bank details to arrange an instalment plan.
